Harbour car park in Torquay reopens
- Published
The Harbour car park in Torquay has reopened for motorists.
It provides more than 300 parking spaces to motorists 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
As part of its redevelopment, a lift has been added to enable people to move between the car park and the street more easily.
The car park had been operating with a limited number of spaces during the building works for the new Harbour View Hotel.
'Minor finishing works'
Access to the car park is once again via Torwood Street and The Terrace junction.
Councillor Adam Billings said: “The reopening of this car park is great news for harbourside businesses and visitors, especially with the Easter holiday just a couple of weeks away."
He added that there are some "minor finishing works" outstanding.
The temporary entrance on Museum Road is now closed, with access to Harbour car park only being available via The Terrace entrance.
