Girl, 14, seriously injured in collision with car

A 14-year-old girl has suffered "serious injuries" in a collision with a vehicle near Ilfracombe, Devon, police say.
The incident between the pedestrian and a white MG ZS car happened on the A361 at Dean Cross on Tuesday at about 16:10 BST.
Devon and Cornwall Police said the road was closed and the girl was airlifted to Bristol Royal Infirmary.
They added the occupants of the car were uninjured and officers were seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage to assist in an investigation.
