Murder probe: Woman arrested after man found dead

There are both residential and commercial properties in Gun Lane, Strood

Police have launched a murder investigation following the death of a man at a property in Kent.

Officers found the body of a man in his 60s in Gun Lane, Strood, at about 00:30 BST on Friday.

A woman, aged 42, was arrested in connection with the death at about 04:00 and remains in custody this afternoon.

Kent Police said they were treating the man’s death as suspicious and asking anyone with information which could help with their investigation to get in contact.
