A man has been jailed for 11 years for raping two women in Shetland and Orkney.
Sean Casey, 69, was found guilty of attacks on the woman in Shetland between 1984 and 2016.
He raped the second woman in Orkney and Shetland in 1998.
Police Scotland welcomed the verdicts at the High Court in Aberdeen and said Casey would now "face the consequences" of his actions.
Casey was also found guilty of indecent assault between 1998 and 1999 in Shetland.
Det Con Emma Ellis said: “I hope these women will take some form of justice from the outcome in court as they continue to move forward with their lives.
“I’d urge anyone who has been the victim of a sexual crime, regardless of when it happened, to come forward and report it to us."
