Man charged with assaulting police officers

A man has been charged with malicious communications and assaulting police officers.
It follows an incident on Chapel Road in Southampton, according to Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary.
Randy Randayn, 35, from Bournemouth, Dorset, has been remanded in police custody.
He is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
