Third man charged over fatal road crash in Milngavie

A third man has been arrested and charged over a fatal road crash in February last year.

Ryan Wheeler, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene after the Skoda Superb he was a passenger in collided with two other vehicles on Auchenhowie Road in Milngavie.

The 19-year-old male driver of the Skoda and a 16-year-old female passenger were both seriously injured in the incident, which took place on 26 February.

The occupants of the two other vehicles - an Audi and a Ford - were not hurt.

Police Scotland said a 20-year-old man had been charged and will appear before Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday.

Two men, aged 18 and 24, were previously arrested and charged in connection with the incident and will appear in court at a later date.
