Four hurt in two-bus crash with pedestrian

Two drivers, a passenger and a pedestrian have been injured after a crash involving two buses.

West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) said it was called to the junction of Carrs Lane and Moor Street Queensway, Birmingham at 11:48 GMT on Wednesday.

One bus driver was taken to hospital but his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

The second bus driver, a woman who was a passenger and a female pedestrian suffered minor injuries and were discharged at the scene, said WMAS.

A bus operated by Diamond Bus was pictured at the scene of the crash.

The firm said it was working to establish the facts and was unable to comment further.
