Multi-coloured houses line Bethesda High Street including light blue, cream and green, with shops windows on the ground flood of many of the buildings. A purple stone building can be seen on the other side of the road, with a purple awning and people sat on tables outside. A pedestrian crossing with traffic lights can be seen in the middle of the road, with a few cars parked just beyond on the right hand side.Image source, Google

A 19-year-old has pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent after hitting a man with his car.

Thomas Baker, of Bethesda, Gwynedd, was involved in an altercation between four people on the town's High Street at about 13:00 BST on 18 August, after which he drove an Audi A3 into David Thomas.

At Caernarfon Crown Court on Monday, the teen also admitted dangerous driving, driving when banned and while uninsured and the common assault of Michael Smith.

Judge Timothy Petts remanded Baker into HMP Berwyn until his sentencing but warned him that "prison is the only possible outcome".
