Loose horses reunited with owner after appeal

Cleveland Police appealed for the owner to come forward

Two horses which were loose in a neighbourhood have been rescued after police put out an urgent appeal.
Cleveland Police said the animals, one black and the other brown, had been reported at 04:30 BST in the New Road area of Billingham.
When it made its appeal, the force said it had only been able to tether one of the horses but had officers standing by with both of them.
It has since said the horses were safe after being collected by a friend of the animals' owner at 08:00 BST.
