A teenage driver has suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash involving two cars and a van, which also left another person seriously injured.

Humberside Police said the 18-year-old woman was hurt when the black Mini Cooper she was driving collided with a blue Ford Focus and a grey Renault Master.

The force said the crash happened at about 18:55 GMT on Friday on the A1079 between Wilberfoss and Barmby Moor near York.
