A fire caused by a dropped cigarette has been extinguished by fire crews in Derby.
Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service (DFRS) was called to the blaze, which spread to three gardens in Baker Street, Alvaston, at around 15:38 BST on Saturday.
The incident began after a cigarette was dropped by an individual walking behind the gardens, setting the dry vegetation and undergrowth alight, the fire service said.
A DFRS spokesperson issued a warning to people to dispose of cigarettes "responsibly" to stop other fires from happening.
