Former teacher guilty of indecent assault

A former secondary school teacher has been found guilty of historical sex offences.

David Wilkinson was a teacher at Wolverley Secondary School in Kidderminster in the 1980s, West Mercia Police said.

Following a trial at Worcester Crown Court, Wilkinson was convicted of three counts of indecent assault but was cleared of nine other charges, including rape and indecent assault.

The 77-year-old, now of Vinsac, Le Vigeant, France, will be sentenced at Worcester Crown Court on 5 November.
