Cyclist seriously injured in crash involving lorry

The collision happened on the A444 near Griff island in Nuneaton on Thursday morning

A cyclist is in a serious condition in hospital after a crash involving a cement lorry, in Warwickshire.

The collision took place on the A444, near Griff island in Nuneaton, at about 07:00 BST on Thursday.

Warwickshire Police said the victim's next of kin had been made aware. The driver was not injured in the crash.

The force has asked anyone who saw the crash or have any dashcam footage from the time to contact them.
