A man has been charged with attempted murder after a shot was fired from a vehicle on a trading estate, police have said.
Avon and Somerset Police were called to the Lufton Trading Estate in Yeovil, Somerset, at 12:45 BST on Wednesday when a firearm was discharged - nobody was hurt in the incident.
James McGuiness, 30, from Yeovil, was arrested on Friday and has now been charged with attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possession of a firearm while prohibited.
He is scheduled to appear at Yeovil Magistrates Court on Monday.
A woman in her 20s who was also arrested on Friday on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released on bail while inquiries continue.
Earlier this week police seized a red 4x4 vehicle it is believed was linked to the shooting.
Additional patrols have been taking place in the area since the incident.
