Customer used bar's card machine to refund £500

The fraud happened at Nottingham's Secret Garden bar
- Published
A man refunded himself £500 instead of paying for his bar tab in a fraud at a Nottingham bar, said police.
Staff at city centre bar Secret Garden called Nottinghamshire Police after realising their bar takings were down at the start of August.
Investigations into the Trinity Walk bar's CCTV found a man holding the card machine to pay for his drinks.
But instead of paying, he used the machine to put £500 into his account before leaving.
Nottinghamshire Police made an appeal over the fraud and released images of a man they would like to speak to who the force said had since been identified.
