A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a 45-year-old man in Spalding.

Lincolnshire Police received a report of an incident at the junction of Green Lane and St Thomas' Road at 14:27 GMT on Monday.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and a 47-year-old man has been arrested for affray. Both remain in police custody.

Officers are carrying out their investigations in the area with Green Lane remaining cordoned off up to Knipe Avenue.

People have been asked to speak to the police if they have any information relating to the circumstances of the incident, or have any CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage of the area.
