Two men arrested as part of an inquiry into nightclub drink-spiking have been told by police they face no further action.

An investigation began after an alleged spiking took place at Marilyn's nightclub on Bridge street in Evesham, Worcestershire, on 13 March.

One of the suspects was allegedly seen placing a suspected drug into a drink and then encouraging a woman to drink it before touching her inappropriately.

The two men, aged 22 and 30, had also been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault, but West Mercia Police have confirmed the men would face no further action.

One of the alleged victims was later taken to hospital for treatment after she became unconscious.
