All island bathing spots rated good or excellent

There are no bathing spots on the island where the Environment Agency advises against swimming

Every one of an island's bathing spots has been classified as good or excellent by the Environment Agency (EA).
The environmental protection and regulatory body's Swimfo dashboard publishes information on the water quality at designated bathing spots across England.
Eleven of the Isle of Wight's swimming spots are classified as excellent, with the remaining four being good.
It means there are no designated swimming spots on the island where the EA is currently advising against bathing.
Sites rated excellent are Compton Bay, Totland Bay, Colwell Bay, Cowes, East Cowes, Seagrove, St Helens, Whitecliff Bay, Yaverland, Shanklin and Ventnor.
Good locations are Gurnard, Ryde, Bembridge and Sandown.
The nearest area with water quality rated poor is Southsea East in Portsmouth, where bathing is not advised.
The EA said water samples were taken between May and September, and daily pollution risk forecasts were also issued at "a number of sites".
"Annual ratings classify each site as excellent, good, sufficient or poor based on measurements taken over a period of up to four years," the agency said.
