Coldplay: tickets and everything you need to know

Thousands of tickets have been sold for Coldplay's 2025 UK dates in Hull and at Wembley Stadium but there is still a chance to get hold of them.

In September, the band said they would appear at Craven Park in Hull for two dates before performing a record-breaking 10 nights at Wembley Stadium in August and September.

The band said Hull and London are the only two cities in Europe where they will perform next year, with a mystery guest to be announced.

The initial ticket allocation for Hull and London sold out when they went on general sale but the band will release a limited number of Infinity tickets costing £20 on Friday to give fans another chance to see them.

Here is everything we know so far to help you be as prepared as you can to secure your tickets.

Where can I get tickets?

The general sale tickets were originally available through Ticketmaster, AXS and See Tickets but quickly sold out.

But the band has announced it will make a number of Infinity tickets available on 22 November at 12:00 GMT via Ticketmaster only.

Ticketmaster has shared some handy tips, external on how to secure tickets when the day rolls around.

How much do tickets cost?

The Infinity tickets will be sold in pairs at £46.75 which includes a booking fee. These tickets will be located anywhere in the venue and allocated at random.

You could be in the cheapest seats or find yourself on the front row.

When they went on sale in September, the face value of a standing ticket was £110 plus a £2.75 order fee.

Seated tickets were priced between £55 and £165 plus a £2.75 per order fee.

However, within hours of the first batch of tickets going on sale the BBC saw them being advertised on resale sites.

Tickets are being advertised for up to £1,383.

Can I get a ticket if I live nearby?

There was good news for local fans - half of the tickets for the Hull shows were allocated for people with an HU, YO, DN or LN postcode.

The sale took place in September with the allocation snapped up by fans within half an hour.

Sarah Cash, from Hull, told BBC Radio Humberside: "We were some of the lucky few to get presale tickets this morning. A lot of our friends were disappointed."

The 2025 Hull dates mark Coldplay's first-ever concerts in the city.

Where else are Coldplay performing?

Coldplay have announced new dates for the Music of the Spheres World Tour which will take them to Asia and North America in 2025.

Can I buy accessible tickets?

All accessible tickets for Wembley will be available from the Wembley Box Office.

For the Hull dates, accessible tickets will be available on Ticketmaster.

Do you have to be over 18 to get Coldplay tickets?

Those who would like standing tickets need to be over 14 years old, but seated tickets are available for anyone over the age of five. All under 14’s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

How many tickets are being sold?

Though no confirmation has been made on the number of tickets on sale for the Hull or London events, Craven Park seats 12,000 people and alongside standing capacity can hold up to 25,000 people – meaning there could be up to 50,000 fans attending across the two nights.

Wembley's capacity is 90,000 - it is the largest stadium venue in the UK. This could mean almost a million tickets would be available across the 10 nights.

Where does the money from tickets go?

The band has announced that 10% of the proceeds from the Wembley and Hull shows will be donated to the Music Venue Trust.

This will support work to help grassroots UK venues and upcoming artists.

What time will the concert start and finish? How many hours will Coldplay perform for?

The Hull concerts start at 17:00 BST, and no end time has been confirmed yet.

However at recent Music of the Spheres tour shows in Europe, the band have been taking to the stage between 20:30 and 21:00 and have been playing about 21 songs across a two-hour long set.

Have Coldplay released a new album?

The new album, titled Moon Music, landed in October. The band's 10th studio album went straight to number one in the UK when it was released.
