Highland Council plans to carry out resurfacing work over six consecutive nights at one of Inverness' busiest roundabouts.

Inshes Roundabout's exists provide access to routes leading to the A9 and A96, Raigmore Hospital, a large retail park and the city's Southern Distributor Road.

The local authority plans to start the resurfacing on Sunday 17 August and from 19:00 to 06:00 each night.

Highland Council said the work was timed for when traffic volumes were lighter, and avoided the school summer holidays.
