House wrecked as fire tears through roof

No one was injured in the blaze in Rake Road, Liss

Fire has torn through the roof of a house in Hampshire.

Crews and support vehicles from nine stations were called to the property in Rake Road, Liss, at about 14:40 BST on Thursday.

The gas and electricity supplies were isolated while firefighters tackled the blaze.

No one was injured and the fire was put out by 21:00, Hampshire's fire service said.

Fire investigation officers are looking into the cause of the blaze and firefighters have been visiting nearby properties to give safety advice.
