A woman in her 30s has died at a flat on the Isle of Wight, police have confirmed.

The woman was found a property in Flitcroft Gardens, Lake, by ambulance crews on Monday shortly before 13:00 BST.

Concerns over potentially hazardous material in the flat prompted police and specialist fire crews to evacuate neighbouring flats in the block.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said no hazardous materials were identified and the address had since been deemed safe.
