Increasing concerns from police over missing man
'Out of character' disappearance for Droitwich man
- Published
Concern is growing for a 66-year-old man who has gone missing from his home, police say.
Andrew Phillips was last seen at his house in Jackdaw Lane, Droitwich, Worcestershire, on Friday at about 07:00 BST.
Ch Insp Dan Pilkington, from West Mercia Police, said his disappearance was "completely out of character".
Appealing for information to help find him, he said officers were growing increasingly concerned for his welfare, adding: "No matter how insignificant you may feel your information is, it could well be the vital piece we need to find him."
Mr Phillips is described as white, about 6ft 3ins tall and of slim build.
He has grey hair and was last seen wearing dark trousers and a black coat with a tan or orange fleece and may have been carrying a small backpack, the force said.
