Man in his 50s dies following Coleraine house fire

A man in his 50s has died following a fire at a residential property in County Londonderry on Wednesday.
Police received a report of the fire shortly after 23:20 BST in Maple Drive in Coleraine.
The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) and the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) also attended.
The man was taken to the Causeway Hospital in an ambulance, but died as a result of his injuries.
The NIFRS said firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
Police said enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
