Shopping centre gets approval for cinema return

Plans to build a new cinema at a shopping centre in Sheffield have been approved by the city council.
The Crystal Peaks site in Beighton has been without one since the 10-screen UCI closed in 2003.
The new cinema will have four screens across two floors, each seating up to 71 people, plans outlined.
Centre manager Lee Greenwood said they hoped the attraction would open in spring or summer next year.
"One of the questions we are most often asked by visitors is when a cinema will be returning to Crystal Peaks, so we are delighted to confirm that our plans have been approved," he said.
The applicant, Albany Courtyard Investments Ltd, also said the cinema would create 12 full-time jobs.
