Singer Nick Cave has announced a UK exclusive headline show in East Sussex next year.
The Australian musician said he would play "a massive gig", along with the Bad Seeds, in Preston Park, Brighton, on 31 July 2026.
"I am thrilled beyond words to return to my beloved Brighton. It's a homecoming. It's going to be big, bad and beautiful," he said.
Cave, known for songs including Red Right Hand and Into My Arms, added that he was trying to get other musicians to join the show.
'Very special place'
The 67-year-old lived in Brighton for more than two decades, before moving to Los Angeles following the death of his son, Arthur, in 2015.
He said he has a "unique and enduring" connection to the city, which has inspired many of his songs, lyrics and films.
"It's a very special place to me," he said.
"It still has huge significance and meaning."

However, said that he did not like the city when he first visited and his wife "dragged" him to live there.
"I always caught the wrong day or something. It just seemed kind of bleak and depressing," he told BBC Radio Six Music.
"But then I came and lived [in Brighton] and it was anything but that," he added.
"So much has happened here. The good and the bad."
Cave is touring Australia and New Zealand in the New Year as part of the Wild God Tour.
