Two people have been arrested after a police chase ended in a crash on a residential street.

Wiltshire Police's specialist operations teams said its armed response vehicle was authorised to pursue a BMW in Swindon on Friday night.

The vehicle ended up on its side on Duchess Way, in the Stratton area of the town.

Police said two people were arrested on suspicion of "multiple offences" including for driving without insurance or a licence, and the car seized for "multiple tyre offences".
