A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a gun was fired from a car in Wolverhampton last year.

Police said they arrested a 23-year-old man on Friday in Manchester, following the shooting in Frederick Street, last September.

Three women were taken to hospital with injuries afterwards, but they were later discharged.

Officers previously charged another man with attempted murder and possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life.
