A police officer has been charged over allegations he had inappropriate contact with women he met through his work.

Det Con John Littlewood, of Warwickshire Police, who worked in the force's child abuse, trafficking and exploitation team, faces two counts of improper exercise of police powers and privileges by a constable in relation to two women.

The 52-year-old was charged following a Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) investigation, which concluded in December 2024.
