PC in court over teenage girl assault

A West Yorkshire Police officer has appeared in court charged with assaulting a teenage girl, the force said.
PC Mark Ostiadel, 43, is charged with two counts of assaulting a girl under the age of 13 by touching and two counts of sexual assault on a female.
Mr Ostiadel appeared before Doncaster magistrates on Tuesday and was released on bail to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on 23 September.
West Yorkshire Police said the officer, who is based in operational support, was currently suspended from duty.
