Buses to replace trains as major work under way

Rail replacement buses will be in place between Nottingham and Leicester

Rail passengers are being warned their journeys may be disrupted by major works over the weekend.
All lines between Nottingham and Leicester will be shut as a result, and replaced by buses, East Midlands Railway (EMR) said.
This is to allow works to renew 830 metres of track at Mountsorrel, north of Leicester, as part of a £1m investment in infrastructure. The operator has urged passengers to plan ahead.
An amended train service will run between Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham, as well as Leicester and London St Pancras International with increased journey times.
The operator said it had strengthened some services to help passengers get to the Beer Festival Raceday at Uttoxeter Racecourse.
Philippa Cresswell, customer experience director for EMR, said: "We recommend customers planning to travel this weekend check their journey in advance, as journeys will take longer than usual.
"Rail replacement buses will be in place between Nottingham and Leicester, with no direct journeys to London from Sheffield or Nottingham.
"For full details on how to complete your journey, please check the EMR website."
