Police appeal after boy, 17, dies following crash

The crash took place at the junction between Retford Road and Shrewsbury Road

Police have launched an appeal for information after the death of a 17-year-old boy following a crash.
Emergency services were called to Retford Road, in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, at about 13:10 GMT on 27 October after the crash involving a motorcycle and van at the junction with Shrewsbury Road.
The boy, who was riding the motorcycle, was airlifted from the scene and taken to hospital, Nottinghamshire Police said.
The force added despite the efforts of medical staff, he was pronounced dead on 31 October.
Det Insp Jamie Moore said: "A teenager has tragically lost his life following this incident and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
"The victim's relatives continue to be supported by our specially trained officers.
"As the investigation progresses, we would ask anyone with additional information to come forward - particularly those with dashcam footage of the scene."
