Person given treatment at scene of house fire

Crews from Mortimer, Whitley Wood and Theale stations were sent to the fire

Firefighters have treated one person at a house fire.

Crews were called to Dauntless Road in Burghfield Common, near Reading, on Thursday shortly before 17:10 BST.

Firefighters from three stations along with an aerial ladder platform tackled the blaze in the two-storey terraced house before using a fan to clear the smoke.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters provided immediate emergency care to one person at the scene.
