A teenager has been charged following a stabbing at a college.

West Midlands Police were called to reports of a 17-year-old being stabbed at University College Birmingham on Summer Row at around 15:30 BST on 10 September. The teenager was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Another 17-year-old boy was arrested on Friday after handing himself into a local police station.

The teenager was charged with wounding and is expected to appear at Birmingham Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
