Police have launched an arson investigation after a blaze at a self-storage warehouse.

Fire crews from Norfolk and Suffolk were called to Britannia Alan Cook, on Pinbush Road in Gisleham, near Lowestoft, at about midnight on Sunday.

A spokesperson for Suffolk Police said: "Police are treating the incident as arson and are reviewing CCTV opportunities."

The force said they were appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage.

About 15 appliances were called to the site and people living nearby were advised to keep their windows and doors closed due to the smoke. No-one was in the building at the time of the fire.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said crews spent the night tackling the fire and remained on scene for several hours on Monday.
