Man charged over firearms incident at country home

A man has been charged with common assault and using an imitation gun at a country house.
Norfolk Police was called to Norwich Road in Marsham on Tuesday evening following reports a woman had been assaulted and a man was behaving in a threatening manner with a firearm.
Officers searched the property but failed to find a man, but an arrest was made in the West Midlands on Thursday.
Thomas Daniels-Poulis, 30, of Norwich Road in Marsham, has also been charged with resisting arrest and has been remanded in custody after appearing at Norwich Magistrates' Court at the weekend, police said.
A woman in her 50s, who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, has been released on police bail until 10 November.
