A woman has been found guilty of helping the teenage killers of a Huddersfield schoolboy, by hiding bags of their clothes on the day of the murder.
Shereen Brown, 38, of Dewhurst Road, Fartown, was convicted of perverting the course of justice in relation to investigations after the death of 15-year-old Khayri Mclean in September 2022.
Khayri was stabbed to death by Jovani Harriott, 17, and Jakele Pusey, 15, after the pair ambushed him outside North Huddersfield Trust School.
Brown, who was on trial at Leeds Crown Court, was remanded into custody ahead of sentencing in October.
Brown was said to have moved bags, hidden in woodland, on the day of Khayri's killing.
The bags were said to have contained clothes and weapons belonging to Harriott and Pusey.
Neither the bags or murder weapon used to kill Khayri have been found.
The teenagers were jailed in May last year, with Harriott ordered to serve at least 18 years and Pusey a minimum of 16.
Brown is due to be sentenced at Leeds Crown Court on 31 October.
Keelan John-Matheson, 27, of Bradford Road, faced the same charge but was found not guilty.
Javayne John, 20, of Annie Smith Way, had previously admitted perverting the course of justice and will be sentenced at a date to be fixed.
