Police are searching for a man after a child was bitten by a dog while on a bus.

The girl was bitten by a dog described as a black or brown Staffordshire bull terrier-type on a bus in Sturry Road, Canterbury, at about 19:40 BST on 10 August, Kent Police said.

Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to who they say may be able to help with the investigation.

The girl suffered cuts, which police said are not thought to be serious.

Anyone with information, or who recognises the man, is urged to call Kent Police or Crimestoppers.
