Woman sexually assaulted in gardens near pier

A woman has been sexually assaulted by a man in a park at a seaside resort, police have said.
The woman, aged in her 40s, was attacked in the Lower Gardens in Bournemouth on Sunday shortly before 03:30 BST.
Dorset Police said the woman had met the man earlier in the evening.
The force said a full investigation was underway in the gardens near the pier led by detectives from Bournemouth CID.
The woman is being supported by officers and no arrests have been made, police said.
