Crash leaves pedestrian with serious injuries

A pedestrian has been left with life-threatening injuries after a fail-to-stop road traffic collision, police said.
Cambridgeshire Police said the collision in Burghley Road, Peterborough, at about 20:40 GMT on Wednesday, involved a silver Nissan Micra car.
The 43-year-old pedestrian remains in hospital in a serious condition, the force added.
Two people have been arrested in connection with the incident and police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage of the incident.
A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: "The Nissan is believed to have been travelling in convoy with a white Seat Ibiza, and heading towards Park Road, at the time of the collision."
