Leeds Festival: What you need to know

Travis Scott is headlining Leeds Festival on Friday, his only European festival date

Leeds Festival takes place this Bank Holiday weekend.
The festival - which is paired with Reading - will welcome about 90,000 people to the Bramham Park site over the weekend.
Headliners Travis Scott, Hozier, Chappell Roan and Bring Me The Horizon will play at the festival, which runs from Thursday to Sunday.

Chappell Roan will headline on Saturday night
Also on the bill are Limp Bizkit, D-Block Europe, Becky Hill, AJ Tracey and Trippie Redd.
Others to play include The Kooks, Heartworms, Wunderhorse and Amyl and The Sniffers.
Rudim3ntal, Suki Waterhouse, Nell Mescal, The Dare, Example, Lola Young and Leigh-Anne will also perform.

How to get to Leeds Festival

Hozier play the festival on Saturday night
Bramham Park is between Leeds and York, five miles (8km) south of Wetherby.
The nearest railway station is Leeds, and there are regular trains from major cities across England into Leeds including Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle and London.
Passengers can then take the festival shuttle bus from Leeds Station direct to Bramham Park.
Leeds Station is about a 30-minute drive from the festival site.
There is a shuttle bus service running between the festival and Sovereign Square Park in Leeds city centre, and also to and from Wetherby.
People are being asked to get their tickets in advance on the First Bus, external app.
There is a timetable for the 2025 Leeds Shuttle Bus, external online.
Passengers are asked to note that trolleys are not allowed on the buses.
Drivers have been warned about road closures and heavy traffic around the site during the weekend, with several road closures in place.
Festival-goers who plan to be dropped off or collected from the site will need to use the dedicated Pick Up and Drop Off zone, located off York Road (A64).
There is no pick up/drop off facility near to Yellow Gate this year.
When do the gates open and what can I bring?

The festival is held at Bramham Park from Thursday to Sunday
Weekend and early entry ticket holders can arrive at noon on Wednesday, and weekend ticket holders at 15:00 on Thursday.
The campsite is open 24 hours a day, and closes at midday on Monday.
The arena opens at 17:00 - 02:00 on Thursday, and from 11:00 - 02:00 on Friday to Sunday.
Day ticket holders cannot re-enter the arena once they have left.
Day ticket holders can stay in the arena for the silent disco.
Headsets can be purchased on site at Silent Disco King.
With a weekend ticket, you can leave and re-enter the arena and campsites.
Campfires and disposable BBQs are banned from both the campsite and the arena.
Other banned items include:
Aerosols over 250ml
Air horns
Animals (other than registered hearing dogs or guide dogs)
Blow torches
Catapults
Lanterns
Clothing, garments or items that "promote cultural appropriation"
Drones and other flying devices
Firewood, fireworks, pyrotechnics, or flares
Glass bottles, jars, or containers over 100ml
Drugs and legal highs, herbal highs, new psychoactive substances including nitrous oxide, and and any items associated with them
Megaphones
Penknives
Perfume and make-up over 100ml
Petrol burner
Portable laser equipment and pens
Single-use vapes
Skateboards, rollerblades, hover-boards, scooters, or bicycles
Sound systems
Spray cans
Unauthorised professional film or video equipment, radios, or walkie talkies
Unauthorised handbills, flyers, or stickers
Weapons, or anything that could reasonably be considered for use as a weapon, including oversized lighters
Allowed in the campsite but not in the arena are:
Alcohol for personal consumption for those aged 18 and over (only before 18:00 on Sunday)
Cutlery and tin openers
Cans
Chairs, stools, and inflatable loungers
Flat-based cooking stoves
Gas canisters for cooking stoves (250ml or less)
Fitted gas canisters and cylinders in campervans
Flags
Sealed drinks bottles, not glass
Gazebos and parasols
Selfie sticks
Confiscated or surrendered items will not be available to collect after the festival, the event said.
Non-professional video equipment, personal-use cigarettes and cool bags, empty reusable plastic and metal bottles, medication, and trolleys or prams for younger children are allowed on both the campsite and in the arena.
