Suspected Class B drugs with an estimated street value of £200,000 were seized

A 38-year-old woman has been charged after suspected Class B drugs with an estimated street value of £200,000 were seized at an airport.

The incident happened at George Best Belfast City Airport on Saturday.

A passenger was detected with suspected cannabis in their luggage, police said.

On Sunday a woman was charged with possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply.

The woman is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on Monday.

As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
