The cost of some travel cards in Nottingham is set to increase on Sunday following a six-monthly price review.

The prices of the three-month, six-month and 12-month adult Robin Hood Season Cards, which allow unlimited travel on most buses, trams and trains within its network, external, will increase, so will the under-19 day ticket.

However, the cost of the adult day ticket, also flexible days card, the under-19, student and 19-21 season card will remain the same.

Nottingham City Council said some prices had increased, external after operators upped their prices.

The price for the three-month adult season card will go from £250 to £256, for the six-month one it will rise by £11 to £485, and the 12-month pass will cost £845 instead of £830.

Meanwhile, the under-19 day ticket will cost £4.20 instead of £4.10.

A council spokeswoman said the season card prices had increased because those operators had increased their prices due to increased wages and increased fuel prices.

This time the price increase affected fewer products and was between 1.7% and 2.3%.
