The operator being chosen to run Jersey's bus network in 2025 will be announced later in the autumn, leaders have said.

Infrastructure Minister Andy Jehan gave the update to the States Assembly during question time on Tuesday.

Both Jersey and Guernsey's bus services are currently overseen by the same parent company, the Kelsian Group, with the contract for current Jersey operator Liberty Bus ending in April 2025.

It has already been announced that Stagecoach will take over the operation of Guernsey’s bus service next year.
