Three men have been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a girl more than 16 years ago.
West Yorkshire Police said the men, two aged 38 and one aged 39, were arrested in the Halifax area as part of an investigation into child sexual exploitation in Calderdale.
The offences are alleged to have taken place between 2006 and 2008.
The force said all three men had been released on bail while a "comprehensive investigation" was carried out.
Det Ch Insp Clare Smith said: "We are committed to tackling child sexual exploitation and abuse.
"It is an abhorrent crime which affects the most vulnerable in our society."
She said the force had "significant experience" in investigating recent and non-recent child sexual exploitation and urged anyone who had been a victim to come forward.
