Motorcyclist suffers critical injuries in crash

A motorcyclist has suffered life-threatening injuries in a collision with a car, police said.
A blue Honda motorbike collided with a black Renault Clio at the junction of Olympus Way and Tankersley Lane in Hoyland, Barnsley, at about 18:30 BST on Saturday.
The biker was taken to hospital while the driver of the car remained at the scene to assist officers, South Yorkshire Police said.
The force is appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage to get in touch.
