Man seriously injured in shooting

A man has been seriously injured in a shooting in Darlaston.
Police were called to reports of a shooting on Charles Foster Street shortly after 09:00 BST on Friday.
A man in his 40s was taken to hospital with gunshot injuries where he was described as being in a stable condition.
West Midlands Police said extra officers had been deployed to the area to reassure the local community.
A force spokesperson said: "We are in the early stages of our investigation and would appeal for witnesses or people with information especially mobile or dashcam footage to please contact us."
