Driver seriously injured in two-lorry A303 crash

The crash on the westbound carriageway near Popham Services happened on Monday

A lorry driver has suffered serious injuries in a crash with another lorry.
It happened on the westbound carriageway of the A303 near Popham Services, Hampshire, shortly after 14:00 GMT on Monday.
The vehicles crashed after one crossed over from the oncoming carriageway.
Police said the HGV lorry driver, a man aged in his 30s, remained in hospital. The other driver was not injured.
The road was closed overnight while the lorries involved were recovered. It reopened at about 02:00.
Witnesses and any drivers with dashcam footage are being urged to contact Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary.
