Attempted murder charges have been dropped against a man and two teenagers following a stabbing in Telford in October.

Lemar Boothe, 21, of no fixed address, Riley Preece, 18, of St George's, Telford, and a 14-year-old who cannot be identified because of his age were all told on Tuesday the Crown Prosecution Service had chosen to offer no evidence.

Boothe and the 14-year-old boy both pleaded guilty to a charge of wounding with intent at Stafford Crown Court.

Mr Preece pleaded not guilty to the same charge and his case was being held on Wednesday.

West Mercia Police said the 18-year-old victim was found with multiple wounds on King Street in Dawley, Telford.
