Police are investigating a sexual assault at a festival in Ledbury.

West Mercia Police said a man lifted the skirt of a 17-year-old girl and sexually assaulted her between 22:00 and 22:30 BST at Lakefest on Saturday.

He is described as being in his 30s, about 5'7" of a slim build, white with brown hair, a brown beard, small moustache, and was wearing a green shirt, black trousers and a silver ring on his finger.

The force wants to speak to people who may have information, or to anyone who matches the description.

It also appealed for anyone to come forward who may have been a victim of a similar incident at the festival.

"It is thought some people who attended the festival might be from outside of our force area, so officers ask for this appeal to be shared with anyone who you know was at the event over the weekend," it added.
